Session 4 at NVM Conference: Who has the leading edge on new memory technologies?

 MONTEREY, CA., August 4, 2010 – Web-Feet Research and Westwood Marketing have assembled some of the best non volatile memory candidates that are vying for adoption as the next extension of either NVDRAM or NAND.  This session will discuss the inherent features of each NVM technology, what differentiates this technology, how easy or cost effective can it be manufactured and why it will gain rapid acceptance into their respective markets.  These Storage Class Memories (SCM) are segmented into memory-based or storage-based technologies.

 

·         Adesto will have Michael Kozicki, the inventor of Conducting Bridge (CBRAM) present their variation of RRAM as they move towards commercialization.

·         Unity with their NAND extension-type CMOx technology will show their cross point architecture and how they will address the NAND market.

·         Micron (formerly Numonyx) offers Phase Change Memory that is currently in production and AJ Camber will explain its development potential as SCM – Memory.

·         Avalanche is in stealth mode developing a new design of ST-MRAM that could be made in MLC and multilayers.

·         Qs Semiconductor is developing Silicon Carbide or QsRAM which will be presented by Keyhan Sinai.

·         Mag Sil’s field effect MRAM will be explained by Jay Kamdar and how it will address one of the biggest memory markets.
